Working Bee
We have a number of jobs on our list ranging from handy-man jobs, spreading cushionfall under the senior playground, maintenance on the senior playground, replacing rotten palings on our boundary fences, repairing the tops of our garden plots, putting up the shade cloth and I am sure there will be plenty more jobs to do. Come along and meet other parents, enjoy a morning tea and a delicious lunch. Children are welcome also. For catering purposes please let the office know if you can assist, even if it is for an hour or two
Hats and shoes
From this week, children are expected to wear their sun hats at break times. If children aren’t wearing a hat they must go under the school verandas. Don't forget your hat!!!!
Mr Macmillan picked up three pairs of sandals and a few odd ones in the playground, which suggests children are leaving school without sandals on. Room 5 children wear the uniform with pride and always leave the room fully dressed. If you play on the field after school, please remind your kids that shoes need to be put back on before walking out the gate.
There are lots of shiny new sandals, uniforms and hats at school. Please, please, please name all of your gear. There are about 150 kids in the junior school and a large number of those kids have the same design and size as you. Accidental swaps happen all the time and I can't sort it out if I can't see a name. I have plenty of vivids if you need to borrow one. Thanks for your support in this.
