Mrs T's Spy Mission
Room 5 have been exploring play-based learning. It's really good fun and we have been learning heaps! Our possum traps and paper planes are two memorable examples of play-based learning. On Monday, Mrs T is going on a mission to spy on some other schools that are using play-based learning with Years 2s. We want to see how others have set it up so we can steal their best ideas.

Hiwi the Kiwi is a wonderful show that teaches the kids how to manage and preserve our Marine Taonga. I've seen a few shows now - and they have all been fun. I have put a link to his website in the title if you would like to learn more.

Go4It
Please, bring your PE gear. Girls, that goes double for you. Skirts can be a jolly nuisance when you are trying to balance and jump around.

Mary of the Cross Feast Day.
Our school was founded by Mary MacKillop, so her Feast Day is a special day for us, too. We will start the day with a Mass and have an exciting day of fun to celebrate our connection to this brave, strong and caring woman.
