Our maths problems this week have been about Jack and his orchard (that's a tree farm - we had to figure that out too). Today one of our problem solving teams had to figure out how many trees Jack had to prune (that means giving the trees a haircut). We had some clues - Jack had 7 rows of trees. Each row had 5 trees. Lachlan had to think pretty hard but he cracked the code and found a way to figure it out. Well done, Lachlan!
